Each device has a numerical keyboard with ten buttons corresponding to options in a set of answers. A built-in emitter sends a signal which is captured by the receivers and sent to the main computer.

There are two lights fitted on each remote - a green and a red one. They inform the user whether the vote has been registered by the computer - thanks to them each person can be sure that his or her voice has been included in results.
